Indian saree is considered one of the most ethnic and beautiful wear for women. There are many styles available like Gujarati or straight palo style Bengali or Oriya saree style opposite palo style Maharashtrian style tribal style lehenga style etc.
It is a universally accepted fact of history that in many places the native people were converted to Islam by the Muslims by the force of the sword. But I must point out that most conversions in United Bengal (Bangladesh and West Bengal) were not by the sword, but by Muslim Sufi saints who exposed the inherent evils of Hinduism and Buddhism. The results were eye-opening as 65% of the Hindu-Buddhist population converted to Islam. It appears that the majority of Bengali-speaking Muslims is almost double that of Hindus.
